2016-2017 Title I Parent Involvement Policy

At the end of the last school year, we invited our parents to take part in the review process of our Title I Parent Involvement Policy (PIP).  We used your input via surveys, parent conferences, and committee meetings to create the PIP for this school year.  Check out the PIP for our current school year, and we will always welcome ideas for improving how we can partner with parents to improve the educational opportunities we offer all students.

2016-2017 Right to Know Letter

Mandated Reporter Training

Recent changes to Georgia law mandate that all adults wishing to volunteer in schools complete Mandated Reporter Training.  This training helps make you aware of signs of child abuse, and completion of the training is mandatory for all volunteers within the school.  A certificate of completion will be issued, and this will have to be kept on file in order to ensure the training has been completed.  Parents and other volunteers are welcome to use computers at the school to complete the training.  If you have any questions regarding Mandated Reporter Training, please contact our counselor, Allison Franks.

Parent Resource Center

Our Parent Resource Center (PRC) is located just beside the front office.  Inside you will find brochures and other literature that offers tips on a wide variety of subjects from helping with homework to dealing with discipline at home.  We also have a computer and printer in the PRC if you would like to surf the web for information about how to better assist your child at home.  We are working to add more grade level curriculum materials that will be available for you to use to assist your child.  If you have any questions or suggestions about the PRC, please feel free to contact Dr. Wright at the school.
